Rattling good review by those nice people at folking.com ;D - that sits quite nicely next to the pre-release one done by Bill many moons ago. Thanks for the steer Billy!

Another dream realised as the January copy of Maverick rates 'Too' higher than Billy Talbot and John Martyn

Here's a good one, from 'Country Music People', April 2006 edition:
"A few years back a collection of Essex and Suffolk musicians put together an album of new songs, Songs From The Blue House. Still nameless, they have recorded Songs From The Blue House Too. It seems a pointless way of going about things and if they believe their press release, which suggests that Songs From The Blue House may be a British Music From The Big Pink, they are deluded. Except of course that The Band never gave themselves a name on that famous record. Songs From The Blue House Too features a standard six musicians including songwriters Shane Kirk, Helen Mulley and James Partridge, but there are also several guests. I found the songs dull and the production flat, but the innuendo of The Big Dipper did make me smile. SL"
That was our One-and-a-half-stars review...always nice to get a review, at least we got noticed. ;D
Apart from the my own thoughts on the "innuendo in The Big Dipper" (the only thing he seemed to like, and which having written the lyrics I know nothing whatsoever about...it really is about some stars), what does anyone else think? Group hug?

Each to their own, eh? To be fair, I've frequently been deluded, but never quite deluded enough to think that The Big Dipper is a song about a fat bird and/or your cock...... "Sometimes she just makes me feel small..."? Lawks amercy, it doesn't bear thinking about.... ;D
