Our most polished Steamboat set yet (possibly because they've gone all Greene King, and it's not really possible to drink enough of that for it to affect your performance) enlivened marvellously by the inclusion of That Nice David Booth on shakies and hitting things, and a vast array of electonica intended to faithfully reproduce the sound of acoustic instruments, only louder. Which seems a bit daft when you think about it, but still. Cobwebs succesfully shaken out of a few old things before our away game in Farnsfield and new songs roughed up for the very first time live. A nice touch - "you can sing along with this one if you know the words, or indeed if you're in it" - was the appearance of verse three of Bless My Broken Heart. Literally. Bless.
