We're back again in January - same guff applies as before (so I've left it below) but this time it's a massive two-set all-nighter, with some brand-new material, a couple of covers and a large chunk of familiar faves from albums one and 'Too'. And as I said last time....
This should be an interesting one - we'll see how we get on in a real folk club, what with us being a sort of folk-country-bluegrass-rock mongrel an' all. Also, a return to traditional values in that we'll be performing without electrickery, which should please the folk wing of the group. Where this leaves Gibbon, I don't know - he may have to risk slipping a small amplifier under his jumper and running it off the static generated by rubbing a balloon against his head or something.

Ah yes...good point. We'll sneak one amplifier in....they'll never notice. Either that or he plays all the bass parts on euphonium.

We've had confirmations from Barnes, Booth and Winn as well as the usual suspects, so looks like this is going to be a big band night, with all the jollity and frivolity that inevitably ensues on these occasions. Watch out for banjo-related humour, accent-ripping and odd covers in a folk//country/bluegrass-based stylee...probably.
