;D Well, I don't see how that could have gone any better. Great sound, full house, everyone playing on top of their game (a noticeably big round of applause for Fiddly's introduction, and very well deserved!), our first official backstage rider (beer, wine, sandwiches, water - Gib went to the chip shop next door, natch), pimped lots of merch, met old and new friends and raised a hundred quid for Cancer Research by putting the hat (fez) round at the end. Well, maybe I could've got back from the half time toilet break a little sooner, and rambled between songs a little less, and it's a shame that the soundcheck bluegrass version of "Brenda's Iron Sledge" seems unlikely to make the main setlist, but hey, quibbles, mere bagatelles. Thanks to everyone who came, saw and played. It's been real.
