We were suited, we were booted, we were (in Hel's case) clad in shiny red frocks. And (according to sound man Simon, who's mixed us on more occasions than probably anyone else) "the best gig I've seen you guys do....". I don't invent these things, I merely record them......

Didn't see any flashes going off during the gig, and I forgot to put out an appeal for pixtures afterwards, I'm afraid. We were going to issue an emergency appeal for Russ's Missus to pick up a camera on her way but we'd just missed her and didn't feel it was within our remit to ask her to turn round and go back to pick one up. She had, after all, just agreed to pick up Helen's flute from The Blue House after a quick incidence of Coggers-based absent mindedism. For the record, Fiddly (or "Young Bob" as we've discovered he is known in Thorndon) sported a rather splendid weskit, Gib had a suitably eighties jacket, Russ was resplendent in drape coat and boots, Jayems in beige (all a bit pre-safari if you ask me, but still) and Ms Mulley shone in a deep crimson satin posh frock and strappy heels. Obviously the logistical challenge involved in playing bouzoki in such a get up was momentarily vexing but she rose above it. Rural legend is already attributing our level of performance to the suit-wearing so there's a chance they may become a regular feature in future for those who missed it. It should be mentioned that amongst all this finery only one member of the group was referred to as looking like "the front man of an eighties electronica band". Hmmmm, quite.....

This is bad!!! You will have to employ an official photographer I think I know where you can find one mix - must get film for camera by March, in case no photographer materialises
