An compact, bijou and exclusive audience were treated to an extensive unplugged run through the Blue House back catalogue at 40 Samuel Court on saturday as Neil 'Bez' Gallagher responded to the tart "well if you want to see the band so much why don't you book us?" by doing just that. Enjoying a six piece folk band in your lounge is the new black, everybody, and The Gallaghers are to be commended on their fine taste in both chillis and set list selections. Mr Partridge less so perhaps in his determined pursuit of access to a five year old Boddingtons Party Seven. The Promoters were very happy with the gig, and we were especially pleased with the backstage hospitality and aftershow meet n' greet, which wound up sometime around half past two in the morning. A debut performance of Beartown Road from the new album, among others, was enthusiastically greeted and the out front sound was reported to be 'splendid', especially from vantage points on the stairs, where Fiddly and Mr Ellis Winn's dexterity was pointedly commented upon. We also do weddings, anniversaries and birthdays. ;D
